About my music
My and Ambientium's music created during our performances belongs to the moment, in which it arises and passes. It belongs to the listeners and dancers, who fill the space we share . Their energy is our inspiration, the driving force being transformed through us into an electronic music. Our performances are spontaneous, they are a reflection of momentary spirit of the place, the people and ourselfs. You can download a recording of a music that resounded someplace, you can listen to it and maybe even feel it, but you can't become part of it. You can be part of it only on the place and in the time of its raise and passing.
My instrument
From the year 2006 I focus mainly on spontaneous improvization. I built for that purpose a special system I'm continuously improving. In the center of it ther is music software Propellerhead Record. I have used the variability of this great instrument and made ten-track MIDI recording and looping station of it. Syntesizers, samplers, drum machines and effects offered by Record give the whole system the right vibrations, which are transmitted to a sound system by the Presonus Firebox sound module. Besides stage monitors I use also Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones for monitoring. The essential contact with the instrument is provided by several control devices:
- MIDI keyboard CME UF8
- 2 control boards Behringer BCR2000
- breath controller Yamaha BC3
- 2 digital pedals
- computer mouse Labtec Optical Mouse 800 :-)
Computing power is supplied to my instrument by Fujitsu-Siemens notebook Lifebook E8310 with Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.1GHz.
